Calorie Bank
Everyone has what I call a Calorie Bank. The special thing about this bank is that you want to make more withdrawals than you do deposits. Sound strange? Of course it does. That's why most people fail to lose weight. Here's how it works. Let's say you burn about 1800 calories on a daily basis without exercise. This mean that if you consume 2000 each day, you are depositing 200 more calories in your bank than you are burning. So what you ask? Well, if you continue this trend, you will gain at least 1 pound in about 18 days. That's about 20 pounds a year. So here you see how your weight can slowly get out of hand.
By counting calories the right way, you can control your bank a lot better. The idea is to keep your calorie balance as close to 0 as possible unless you are over weight. Then I would recommend that you burn more calories than you deposit. But don't over do it. You don't want to starve yourself either. Of course, the best way to control your calories is to exercise regularly to keep you balance below 0. But this low calorie diet plan works either way. Talk to your doctor about how these principle can work for your situation.
